As we celebrate 25 years of Parcours des Mondes, it feels like only yesterday that we accepted to support the project and take part in the first edition of a Parisien “portes ouvertes” .
At the time, the Parcours was Kaos, and we decided to take the gamble even further by exhibiting at Galerie Le Minotaure, alongside Alain de Monbrison.
There were no more than twenty participants, all confident that Paris, the great capital of the tribal arts, would embrace this new event and attract enthusiasts and collectors from around the world.
And so it did.
Today, Parcours des Mondes celebrates not only its twenty-fifth anniversary, but also twenty-five years of success.
Many memories remain: the friends, the objects, and the precious feeling of belonging to a community.
This year too, we will exhibit at 22 rue de Seine.
Over the years, we shared this gallery with John Giltsoff, an irreverent friend and master of irony. Together, we conceived eclectic and sophisticated exhibitions, always guided by quality and elegance.
This year, we will once again present an exhibition in the spirit of those we created together then, a toast to the history and to the future of Parcours des Mondes.
