Dalton Somaré at AMART 2025
On the occasion of AMART – l’Antiquariato è a Milano 2025, one of the key events in the Milanese art calendar, Dalton Somaré presents a selection of recently acquired works.
Specializing in classical African art and ancient Indo-Buddhist art, the gallery proposes a curated display that brings together different cultures and artistic languages, while maintaining a strong focus on historical and aesthetic quality.
Works on display
Among the works exhibited:
an anthropomorphic Kuba cup from the Democratic Republic of the Congo, notable for its refined form and almost modernist sensibility
a finely worked pre-Khmer repoussé gold sheet, representative of early Southeast Asian artistic production
These works reflect two core areas of the gallery’s research , Africa and Asia, presented in a dialogue that spans cultures, periods, and geographies.
An international meeting point in Milan
AMART – l’Antiquariato è a Milano offers a valuable opportunity to meet collectors and specialists within a highly curated exhibition context.
The participation of Dalton Somaré forms part of a long-standing presence at major international art fairs, both in Italy and abroad.
