BRUNEAF Cultures 2017 – African and Asian Art in Brussels

On the occasion of BRUNEAF Cultures 2017, Dalton Somaré Gallery takes part in the Brussels event held in the Sablon district, bringing together galleries specialized in non-European arts.

The fair offers collectors and enthusiasts the opportunity to discover selected sculptures from Africa, Oceania and Asia within a high-level international context.

For this edition, the gallery will present recent acquisitions, including a repoussé copper figure of Indra from Nepal and a Senufo Kpelie mask from Ivory Coast.

The selection reflects the dialogue between classical African art and ancient Indo-Buddhist art, two central areas of the gallery’s research.
