A preview of Parcours des Mondes
On the occasion of Parcours des Mondes 2022, we are pleased to share a small preview of the exhibition we will present in Paris. The fair is held each year in the Saint-Germain-des-Prés and Beaux-Arts district and is widely regarded as a leading international event for the arts of Africa, Asia, Oceania, the Americas, and archaeology.
The catalogue and the selected works
This preview is accompanied by an online catalogue bringing together a selection of sculptures and works that will be exhibited during Parcours des Mondes.
The selection reflects the research of Dalton Somaré, centred on classical African art and ancient Indo-Buddhist art, with particular attention to the formal quality and historical significance of sculpture.
As usual, we look forward to welcoming you at Galerie Ange Basso, at 22 Rue de Seine, in the heart of Paris. The address is consistent with the gallery’s location on Rue de Seine and with Parcours-related references to Dalton Somaré at that venue.
It will be a pleasure to meet you and share this new selection of works with you.
